Farrow, Managing Partner
Director of Administration
Farrow is our Managing Partner. Before founding McCormack & Farrow in
1983, Jerry was a human resources executive in the computer
industry. His clients include a wide range of Fortune
500 and Middle Market companies, high technology start-ups
and privately owned companies. Jerry earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree from the United States Naval Academy
and a Master of Science in Systems Management from the
University of Southern California. Before his industry
career, Jerry was a Marine Corps Officer.
Thompson has over twenty-five years of executive search experience.
Before joining McCormack & Farrow as a Partner in
1990, he was President, Vice President and Director with
three prominent west coast search firms. His clients include
companies in the high technology, aerospace, medical products,
financial services, healthcare and service industries.
Following a tour of duty in Germany with the United States
Army, Ken earned his Bachelors in Management/Marketing
from California State University, Fullerton. He is active
in several Orange County trade associations.
Before joining McCormack & Farrow
Brad Yates served as Vice President of Human Resources for ANADIGICS, Inc.
He brings a wealth of human resource experience in high technology businesses. Throughout
his career Brad has held many high impact roles directing all facets of human resources management,
including HR strategy and organization development, workforce planning and talent acquisition,
talent management, performance management and reward systems, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
During a 30-year career in industry Brad held the chief human resource officer positions at
AMI Semiconductors, Mindspeed Technologies, Conexant Systems, and Siebel Systems.
Brad was also the founder, owner, and chief consultant for Prosperitas, an HR consulting firm.
He holds a M.S in Interdisciplinary studies (business, law, and psychology) from the University
of Dayton and a B.S in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
Friedman joined McCormack &
Farrow as a Partner in 1990. Previously, she was with
Coopers & Lybrand for 12 years as Director, Executive
Search. Earlier, she worked in the Canadian search practices
of Coopers & Lybrand and Touche Ross. Helen has conducted
searches for manufacturing, technology, education, healthcare,
not-for-profit, and financial services clients. She earned
a Masters in Education and a Bachelor of Music Education
from the University of Toronto. Helen is a member of the
National Association of Female Executives and the Organization
of Women Executives of California.
is our Director of Administration. Betty joined McCormack & Farrow
in 1987. She is responsible for our accounting functions, travel,
candidate scheduling, all other non-research administrative tasks, as well as special
projects. Prior to joining McCormack & Farrow, Betty was Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Human Resources and
the President of a Fortune 500 company. She is a member of the National Association of
Female Executives and previously served on the Board of the Orange County Business Travel Association
